It's by far the most powerful smartphone hardware we've ever seen. But exactly how is it packaged up? The phone is a mixture of plastic with a Gorilla Glass screen. N Scale Con-Cor/Rivarossi UP 4-6-6-4 Challenger with Soundtraxx TSU750 Micro Sound Decoder

Streamlined Backshop Services present a sample of the installation services available for your DCC project. This project using the Con-Cor/Rivarossi Challenger as a platform utilizes a Soundtraxx TSU750 Tsunami Micro decoder for some light functions and sound and a TCS M1 for front light and motor control. The backup light fixture on the tender has been modified to accept an operational LED. An 0603 Warm White LED with 1000 ohm resistor is used for the front and rear lights. The speakers are (2) 13x13mm speakers aimed down through the floor adn are available from Streamlined Backshop Services and (2) 13mm rounds aimed up through the coal load. The sound file is Heavy Steam version available from Soundtraxx. The Athearn Challenger is fitted with a TSU750 also. I do not know the version as it was sent in for repair. The speaker is the facotry installation however. The video is a great example of the volume I am able to get out of many installationsby using a good mix of speakers, placement, and natural baffeling from the loco shell as well as a side-by-side comparison of the two versions of this model. Cymatics Experiment - Dust Bunnies - Acoustic Landscape

A cymatics experiment using a keyboard, solid tones, arpegiated tones, and variables from the keyboard (resonance / attack / odd / even / Wave depth / etc. I do like the principle of being able to make IMMEDIATE shapes based on solid sinewave tones, but don't think that it is the end of the road. I think that there is something to: 1. Multiple speaker placement on a plate (think 9 different 4 inch speakers soldered to the plate. 2. Magnetics - On the top of the board, a series of positionable electromagnets in which to disturb the flow, and to act as a vibration + Magnetism effect. Also, if part of the effect of the sound through the plate is magnetic...then deading it in positions in line with the speakers. I am making cymatic instruments, and they will be on sale in the Ginko Gallery in Oberlin, Oh by the oberlin college.
